So hard to update these days since i returned my office laptop and i'm just plain lazy to use the pc at home so this is a rare occurence. So some brief update on pregnancy so far ( might be boring for you );
Week: 39++
Due date: 11th May
Mummy's Weight: 54.5kg
Baby's weight: 3kg or 3.4kg ( we'll see ). I don't think it's 3.4kg since i lost some weight in a week. How does that happened?
Last i checked i was 2cm dilated so the Dr wanted to see me this Wednesday. He told me that i can have a plan delivery where i can come in earlier than my due date and he'll break the water so i'll be in labour. Hubby was all for it but i rather wait for the contraction to start normally or until i'm overdue as i do not want to take the risk of c-sec if i'm not fully dilated even when the water breaks. I don't want to be pressured or forced and as long as the baby is not at risk, she can stay in there until Friday then the Dr can do whatever he wants.
So far no contraction just the normal discomfort whenever my tummy harden and reveal the shape of the baby's body. Surreal huh!
The last few days has been spent stuffing my face with food. Got my ribs, sushi, salmon salad, pasta, ice-cream, pavlova etc up until the point i do not know what else i'm craving for.
And now pictures galore;
Baby's shower thrown by hubby and organised by my besties. I was surprised ;)
My mother in law was there too. LOL. They were so sweet. Thank you to those who has been a part of this. Truly appreciate it.
Well hopefully my next post will be with baby's picture on it ;) Till then.

Another week gone by.
Here comes my weekly updates since i have weekly check up now.
Quiet nervous seeing that i actually gained more weight now. Oh please don't let me get fatter than necessary.
Mummy's weigh: 54kg
Baby's weight: 2.9kg
Dr's advice: Maternity leave start pronto preferably next week since i'll be in my 38th week.
Am having backpain while writing this and mild discomfort around my tummy area. Harder to breathe when i sit straight up. Baby is not yet engaged ( whatever that means ) but her position is normal just that her legs usually on my right side and now she has turn around and they are on my left side.
Decided to splurge on Tanamera Postnatal Set. Called the dealer and she said i was supposed to start using the oil since 6 months pregnancy to lessen the stretch marks and to use it for perineal massage to avoid tearing and stiches down there. Eeeekkk!!!! I actually have no idea where this "perineal area" is. *bimbo moment* so once i received the set, will start researching the correct way to do it. Hope it's not to late.
I am actually quiet nervous of this whole giving birth process. Takuttttttt!!!!!

Countdown begins.
Officially 36 weeks now. Yikes.
Mummy's weight: 53.5kg
Baby's weight: 2.6kg
Check up will be once a week from now on.
Baby's hospital bag is ready. Mummy's hospital bag still in progress but everything is already prepared just left to be put nicely in a bag. Daddy's hospital bag? I think by the time i'm due, baru nak terhegeh-hegeh dia pack kot. Harus wajib daddy sleep in the hospital with me ;)
These days the slight pressure i've been feeling has increase to be not-so-slight-pressure after all. Going to the toilet every 5 minutes is a norm or everytime she decided to move, another trip to the toilet y'all. Yes toilet is definitely my bestfriend now. Used to be called bullet train because i walk fast, and now, am a slow poke. Can't see my leg and everytime i sit, have to rise up slowwwwly, need massage constantly because of back pain (joyyyyy) and need to sit while praying. Now that's an experience!
But rest assures, at 9 months, am still active walking around. That's good, No? Hope it help with easy delivery. Enough with the yapping, more pictures pls.

INNAI Red
I came across these fabulous designers when everybody is tweeting about their fashion show. To my surprise, one of the designer is my high school senior, well not that she knows who I am ;p. While browsing through their Facebook page, i fell in love with all of their designs. Wish I could get married again in these glorious creation. Anyway, here are some of my personal favourite;
Simple and elegant. Now, waiting for the next wedding in the family so I could find excuses to wear them ;). Their Notte collections are just perfect. Price is between RM1.5K to RM5K. What are you waiting for? Save your money for the big day ;)

You are 33 weeks pregnant. (fetal age 31 weeks)
The baby is using it's lungs to practice breathing by inhaling amniotic fluid. Your baby is drinking about a pint of amniotic fluid a day now and urinating the same amount. The early baby fuzz, lanugo, is disappearing now and being replaced by actual hair. The nails of your baby are now long enough to reach to the tip of the fingers or beyond and may need trimming as soon as they are born. They may scratch their face even before birth.You may gain a pound a week for the rest of your pregnancy. Do not stop eating or start skipping meals as your weight increases. Both you and your baby need the calories and nutrition you receive from a healthy diet. Calcium intake is extremely important during pregnancy because the baby will draw calcium from the mother to make and harden bone. This can greatly weaken her own bones and teeth because the developing fetus will take minerals from the mother's skeletal structure as and when needed. |
Baby has been very very very active lately and i'm feeling a slight pressure "under there". Nervous knowing how near the ending is. Doctor has given me the admission form for me to bring in case of labor and told me all the signs of labor. Eeeekkksss!!! Eventhough my due date was 11th May, her arrival is expected earlier than that. Late April or first week of May. I am definitely not ready. My hospital bag is empty. I don't even have or prepare any hospital bag. Can you believe how hard it is to find a nursing bra my size???? I had to order online which is good because it is so much cheaper. Owh and i got myself a nursing wrap. I don't want to be a flasher if i were to feed my baby in public. LOL!! It's been few weeks since hubby and I keep on disagreeing on baby's first name. Yesterday i decided to just give in because I chose the last name, the name i had since i was 13 ;P . Itupun first name tu i choose too but i change my mind but hubby loves it, so be it. Lazy Mummy
As you might have realised by now, I am a slight underweight for a pregnant lady. Usually by third trimester, a pregnant woman should be humongous and gained a few kgs at least. The legs and arms and face should be fat and flabby. For me the only thing huge is my protruding tummy. Pre-pregnancy i was always a little bit worried how huge i'll be and how hard to lose all the extra weight. And now at a mere 52.5 kgs ( actually it was less than that ), i'm slightly worried. You see that usually will be my weight even before i was pregnant.
I am always sick. Even now i am back at coughing. I even vomitted once while driving to work that i had to take MC the whole day. Few days ago, my mom read the medical report from Naluri and she started scolding me on my weight. On how i'm not drinking milk, on how little i eat everyday and knowing I won't listen to her, she use a dirty tactic on me. Well I call it dirty because i didn't see it coming. She pulled my husband aside and started telling him to force me to eat and drink milk and i dunno what else they were talking about because i was not there but my husband started being so stern with me after that ;( .
Everyday every hour and sometimes at work he would call to remind me to drink milk. I was hungry at 4am and he bought me McD. Well ohkayyyy i know i should have started drinking milk regularly. It was not a bad experience, the milk was actually nice. I bought Anmum Materna and so far in the past 7 months, i only managed to finish 2 boxes of it. So sikit right.... Maybe that's why i'm constantly sick as well. No healthy diet. It's so weird that i dun have a pregnant woman appetite. I don't really feel the need to eat that much. I'm easily full and i don't really eat junk food.
Well starting this week, milk drinking is included in the diet. Almost reaching my 8th months now so that leave me with 1 whole month to fatten myself and baby. Oh Nooooooo, another 1 month to deliver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scaryyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!
Ok this is officially a rambling mengarut post.

Week 31
Third trimester is really the second hardest. The hardest of course was the first trimester with vomiting non-stop and the infamous morning sickness. By now, i'm having backaches constantly, the baby is kicking my ribs everyday, the famous Braxton Hicks or so it seems, since my tummy constantly harden and soften at any given time, making me breathless.
Progress so far;
Mummy's Weight: 52.5 kgs
Baby's Weight: 1.5 kgs
What I can eat: Anything and everything that I wanted ;)
We did a 4D scan and it's hard to see the baby's face by this time. Note to self: The best time to do it is when you are 5-6 months pregnant. The doctor took a while to locate the baby's face clearly since her unbilical cord is right in front of her face. She actually moves so i can see her little fingers moving. Her eyes were close so i guess she was sleeping? Here's what we can get, see if you can understand and see the face ;)
