A little bit of her

Now that my baby is 5 months going on 6 in 2 weeks, i'm so sad i didn't record her development month by month basis. Seeing how forgetful I am these days, i'm sure i'll forget everything soon.

Oh well, you can't fixated on little things like that so I'll move on. Seeing her grows up right in front of me is priceless. She's so attached now and she recognise me so it's hard to do anything sometimes because she's in the phase of "only want mummy" when she sees me. Even daddy is not popular with her ;)

She can meniarap and turn herself back if she wants to. She can move herself so we always put pillows all around her in the bed since she's sleeping with us.I'm too groggy to pick her up from her bed at night when it's feeding time because she's so heavy now so it's easier to have her with us hence mummy sleeps at the end of the bed and she sleeps like a queen owning half the space for herself. She can interact with you and if she's in the mood she actually looks at you and listen to what you are saying as if she understand them. I think her teeth will start to pop soon since she keeps on playing with her gum.

She weight around 7.2kg now and never cries during her monthly jab. Such strong baby I have there. Like any normal baby ( I hope) she likes to be carried around, doesn't want to be put down so her grandparents are having a bit of a hard time taking care of her. You can't really do anything when you have to carry a baby around. *Sigh*.

Nevertheless, to her mom, she's an easy baby to take care off. She rarely cries with me, always in a good mood and easy to put her down for a nap. Usually she is a light sleeper only sleeps around half an hour during the day when she's with her grandparents, but with me even when she wakes up and saw me sleeping beside her, she would drift off to sleep by herself hence she would sleep sometimes 2-3 hours. How do I know this? Being a mom, you never fully sleep. It's like you are 70% awake and 30% sleeping so i was aware whenever she moves in her sleeps. But the moment I went out of the room, like what I did today even for a minute, she cried her head off. Tak boleh langsung jauh dengan mummy dia.

While writing this, i'm so thankful to have some time for myself to do tons of works that are pending. Office work that is. She has been sleeping since 8pm. Diaper change soon.

Having a kid is a big responsibility. So until you are mentally and physically ready to have somebody else conquer your time 100%, don't even attemp to have one. But Allah is great, being a mother is more of an instict. You know what to do once you have one and you'll try you hardest to be the best that you can to your baby.

So off I go before the baby wakes up and demand my attention. Tootles.
